JOIN OUR CSA TODAY!

WHEN:

Weekly, June 12th - October 23rd

WHAT:

We raise over 100 varieties of vegetables, including several different sweet corn varieties, over twenty types of heirloom and cherry tomatoes, carrots, peas, beans, eggplant, peppers, pumpkins, squash, radishes, spinach, mesclun mix, strawberries, asparagus, raspberries, blueberries, cucumbers, lettuce, herbs, garlic, onions, leeks, potatoes, broccoli, rainbow chard, melons and much more!

In order to offer our customers a wider variety of produce, we have developed trusting relationships with other local growers such as Apex Orchards, Atlas Farm, and Springdell Farm. These farms employ the same trusted growing practices as us (IPM and Certified Organic), and produce some of the finest produce in our region. Sometimes to round out a share, we will include a special item from one of these neighboring farms.

HOW:

Choose the share that's right for you. CLICK HERE TO SEE SAMPLE SIZES.

A large share supplies the most variety and quantity and is ideal for a family of 4 or 5. We also recommend this share size for smaller families that cook at home more frequently, and for true locavores who don't want to miss out on the summer's bounty! If you like to preserve food (can tomatoes, freeze sweet corn and berries etc) we recommend this share, as it is a cost effective way to extend local eating into the winter!

A medium share is ideal for a vegetable loving couple or small family. Some folks in the past have found this share is a great option to explore what a CSA is all about. It is a great learning experience for first time CSA members as it contains more variety than the small share.

A small share is suitable for a single person or a couple with a small appetite. It is comprised of the most basic, "crowd pleasing" vegetables.

We offer full-season vegetable shares as well as several ad-ons: fruit shares, egg shares, and a 10 week flower share. More info below.

BRANDEIS UNIVERSITY FALL SHARE INFO: Our Fall Share at Brandeis University runs from September - October and is intended for students who are not on campus for full season summer shares. Please note that students with campus Meal Plans are discouraged from committing to membership. Fall Shares are one size- intended to be shared in a household or split amongst a group of 4-5 students. The fall share includes vegetables and fall fruits such as apples.

Fruit Share

If you love fruit, be sure to sign up for the fruit share! Members with a fruit share will receive a generous portion of fruit every week, starting with strawberries in the spring and ending with apples in the fall. We pride ourselves on our amazing strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Over the years, we have developed trusting relationships with local growers to offer our customers a wider variety of fruit. We deal with local orchards to include fresh picked tree fruit such as peaches, nectarines, plums, and apples. These growers use the same growing practices as our farm and produce some of the finest tree fruit in the area.

For true fruit lovers and larger families, we offer a double fruit share. This includes the same offering as the single fruit share plus added variety or quantity every week. In June, the double fruit share will relish in our bumper crop of strawberries. Later in the season, the double fruit share will receive more variety, such as 1 pint of blueberries and a half dozen peaches.
